This is an opportunity to join PWC’s fast growing Capital Programmes & Infrastructure team (CP&I) Advisory team. The PWC CP&I Middle East team advises both government organizations and private sector clients in the areas of Project Finance, Procurement, Programme Management, Programme Assurance and Dispute Resolution.
With a strong background in capital programmes, working for major construction organisations, developers, contractors, consultants or client organisations – now is the time for you to apply your knowledge to help us advise our clients across the full project lifecycle from strategy and financing through procurement, delivery and close out.
Specifically, given your strong background in capital programme management, the role will specifically include:
- Setting up effective delivery models for major capital schemes
- Designing appropriate processes, controls and systems for the portfolio of capital schemes being planned or delivered by the client
- Advising clients on optimum procurement routes and strategies
- Advising clients on how to improve efficiency and effectiveness of capital programme management
- Supporting clients to turnaround failing projects in a Leadership capacity
- Supporting the client to discharge their contractual responsibilities
- Helping clients manage their Delivery Partners, Contractors and Sub Contractors
- Advising clients on key risks and appropriate responses to manage these
- Business development with client organisations in the Qatar market
- Improving PWC’s methods and tools using your extensive experience of capital programme management at other organisations
- Recruiting and developing a high performing team of consultants in Qatar
Qualifications/Skills
The position would be responsible for applying their skills and experience to a variety of assignments, maintain the highest quality of professional advice at all times in order to maintain and enhance the firm's standing and market reputation and to manage and build day-to-day client relationships.
In addition the Senior Manager will be responsible for staff management and coaching of junior team members.
