Description
PwC seeks high-performing individuals with deep understanding of treasury operating models, key business drivers and with an ability to demonstrate best practice approaches within a corporate treasury function across multiple dimensions including processes, people, systems and operations. The candidate should have previous experience of working on major change or implementation programs within a corporate treasury function, either process or software related. In addition, the person should support decision making at a senior level (Treasurer, Finance Director, CFO level) and be able to demonstrate a track record of implementation success achieving savings, mitigating risks and overcoming various challenges.
Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or other related major field
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or MBA qualified
- AMCT, AFP qualifications will be an asset
- Relationship and business development skills
- Fluency in Arabic and previous Middle East experience would be an advantage
- Should have an analytical mindset
- Strong verbal, presentation and business writing skills
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teaming skills
- Previous Big 4 consulting experience would be an advantage
- 4 to 6 years experience in a similar role or within a corporate treasury environment
- Significant experience in corporate treasury with focus on transformation and change positions in at least one of the following areas:
- Treasury processes and procedures
- Financial and Treasury risk management (e.g. FX, commodity, interest, counterparty)
- Cash, liquidity and banking
- Treasury systems
Specific competencies:
- Ability to analyse issues and requirements, formulate a solution and create a proposal based on the recommended solution
- Ability to work with Treasury and Finance professionals within clients and demonstrate ability and understanding of Treasury needs and challenges
- Proven ability to conduct industry research and articulate opinions
- Should be a self-starter with excellent commercial insight and have familiarity with the Finance environment
- Proven ability to work independently
- Proactive nature and be able to demonstrate initiative.
- Relationship- focused (with clients, peers, management, etc.)
- Shows creativity in problem solving
- Self-motivation to take initiative for personal growth and development
Responsibilities
- Planning, management and delivery of assignments and occasionally act as the Team Leader for small projects
- Service a wide variety of clients, getting to know and understand their unique business issues and needs
- Collaborative working style, with a focus on knowledge sharing and innovative thinking
- Stay abreast of current business and economic developments relevant to the client’s business; and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provided
