The Sponsorship 2.0 Programme Manager will set up and manage a formal programme management discipline to support and ensure delivery of the new partnership-wide Sponsorship supporter experience capability roadmap. This programme of work forms part of the new partnership-wide Sponsorship Transformation Programme, and includes projects spanning multiple disciplines, stakeholders and geographies including support office marketing, communications, IT, sponsorship operations and child protection.
The Programme Manager will be responsible for managing risk, dependencies, budget and delivery timelines of all projects towards delivering critical enhancements and capabilities to the child sponsorship supporter experience across the partnership.
With a proven track record in a fast paced, complex and ideally global organisation, you will have a desire, motivated by your Christian faith, to help others and model ethics in line with the Christian foundations and ethos of the organisation.
SOME RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Strategic Planning and Management: Planning and designing the programme and proactively monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate
- Programme Monitoring and Controlling: Ensuring that the delivery of outputs or services from the 2.0 projects meet programme requirements in line with the programme capability roadmap, and measures up to defined quality, timing and budget commitments
- Programme Guidance and Collaboration: Working in partnership with the Sponsorship Operations project manager(s) whose role is to manage the national offices/field engagement for innovation scale-outs and multi-lateral tests
REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:
- A minimum of 10+ years of demonstrated work experience in project leadership roles including those directing and motivating complex physical and virtual project teams
- Prince2 Project Management Certification or Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with other members of the programme management team, senior managers, the project teams and third-party service providers
- Must be highly self-motivated and driven to succeed in a fast-paced working environment
