INTERSOS Area Coordinator


ROLE, TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Area Coordinator is responsible, under the supervision of the Head of Mission, for the overall coordination of the activities carried out by Intersos in his/her area of competence. Main tasks and responsabilies of the Area Coordinator will be: • S/he is responsible responsible for the Security of all the staff, local and international, and for guaranteeing that Intersos security procedures are correctly respected and implemented; • S/he is responsible for the Sub Office and for the other field bases that are set in his/her area of competence • S/he is responsible for the Staff, both National and International. S/He supervises the correct behavior of the staff and report to the HoM in any misbehavior case. • S/he is responsible for the implementation of activities, for the budgeting and financial reporting, staff management, and for reporting to the HoM.
JOB REQUIREMENTS • At least 2 year experience as Programme Coordinator; • Good knowledge of the procedure of international donors; • Perfect knowledge of spoken and written English is necessary. • Ability to work to tight deadlines, under-pressure and to respect deadlines; • Proven capabilities of personnel management and financial resources management in multicultural and complex environments. • Comfortable with computer use. • Availability to move often through the Area of competence
