Right To Play would like to fill these above described vacant positions for its project based in Rubavu:
III.PROJECT ASSISTANT/ Location: Gisenyi (Rubavu District).
3.1 RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS
The Project Assistant will be responsible for building the capacity of coach trainers and coaches to enhance the delivery of quality sport and play activities to children and youth. The Project Assistant works closely with the Project Coordinators, in the day-to-day running of the program, coordinating trainings, implementing planned activities and reporting to the Project Coordinator.
3.2. QUALIFICATIONS and Experience:
- A degree in Education, social sciences, or related fields, or commensurate experience.
- At least three to five years relevant employment experience in education, preferably in Rwanda.
- Knowledge or understanding of public health issues and child promotion
- Demonstrate experience in training planning, facilitation and reporting.
- Excellent command of written and spoken French and English required
- Comprehensive computer skills: good knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, Internet and Office Outlook
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills and ability to build relationships with different partners
- Good knowledge of training techniques and social mobilization strategies
- Demonstrate experience of working with NGOs.
- Must be Creative and able to work well under pressure
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Maintain partnerships through regular consultations with local partners, stakeholders and key beneficiaries in the implementation of RTP programming.
- Gain an understanding of the local context with respect to sport, play
