Certified Nurse MSF France Location: Aweil, Sudan

Médecins Sans Frontières - France (MSF-F) is a medical humanitarian organization currently working in Northern Bahr El Ghazal where it is running the pediatrics, in-patients and out-patient departments, nutrition both therapeutic and out-patient nutrition programs and obstetric and gynecology in Aweil Civil Hospital. In addition, MSF-F is also responding to emergencies in Northern Bahr El Ghazal. MSF-F is now looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic candidates for the following position:

Nurse in AWEIL NBeG, Grade 5.

Principal responsibilities include:
Providing quality nursing care to patients within one or various departments within which MSF operates in Aweil Civil Hospital. Departments in the hospital include IPD, Maternity, OT and TFC. The care provided will differ between departments but includes observation of patients, triage, administration of fluids and medication, maintenance of drug and stock management and possibly labour care (Maternity). In some departments, the nurses are also responsible for providing patient education.

• Requirements and expectations:
• English and Dinka fluency
• English literacy
• Must have a Nursing diploma
• Ability and willingness to work with a rotating team (including night shifts)
• Experience with any MSF section an asset
• Must be legally authorized to work in South Sudan
