The Sauti Project is a USAID-funded active to improve the health of all Tanzanians through a sustained reduction in new HIV infections in support of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania. Sauti uses vulnerability-tailored, evidence-based interventions to bring high-quality HIV prevention, HIV adherence support, and family planning promotion and service delivery to key and vulnerable populations (KVPs) in selected regions of mainland Tanzania .The following vacant posts are available for immediate, filling with the Sauti project.

Program Officer Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW),1 position in Kahama

Position Overview:

The Program Officer - Adolescent Girls and Young Women (DREAMS) will be Responsible for ensuring the integration of DREAMS Initiative interventions within the Sauti Program's regional combination HIV prevention activities, including providing close oversight of CSOs implementing DREAMS interventions in the regions. S/he will work closely with Regional Program Manager,
Program Officer and Social Economic Officer to ensure the alignment of DREAMS activities and interventions across the project.
She/he will directly, support the Senior Technical Advisor, Adolescent Girls and Young Women (DREAMS) in the design, roll-out and day-to-day management and implementation of community-based prevention _ interventions with AGYW focusing on social and structural change approaches to HIV prevention in Tanzania; addressing gender roles and cultural norms, behavior change with multiple concurrent partners, and rights-based programming.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in public health or related degree program
• At least five years of experience implementing HIV programs with significant emphasis on adolescent
• Expertise in behavior change, communication economic strengthening interventions desirable
• Excellent written and oral communication 'and presentation skills in English and Kiswahili
• Previous experience and understanding of USG funded programs Experience in managing a large office and professional staff
