Restless Development is the leading youth-led development agency. We have been working in Tanzania since 1993 and have established an impressive track record in delivering grassroots impact through youth led development programmes aligned to the Government of Tanzania’s poverty reduction plans and Millennium Development Goals. We have just completed one year of our ambitious new strategic plan 2011-2015 with huge results realised in our goal areas of sexual reproductive health and rights, livelihoods and employment, and civic participation. We are now seeking the talented and motivated young people to lead our livelihood and career development efforts.
This post will support Restless Development implement its livelihood and career development project which aims to will make education more relevant to future employment opportunities in Tanzania. And also support the development of strategic partnerships with government and civil society at the local level. You will work closely with our Next Generation of Leaders Assistant Project Coordinator to encourage and bring evidence of involvement and engagement of young people in determining their careers and livelihood. You will build strategic partnerships with local government, heads of schools, teachers and other stakeholders to enhance the role of young people in making Education More Relevant to Future Employment
