We are now expanding our Talent Pool for Trade Category Manager in Tanzania.
Responsibilities:
The main purpose of a Trade category Manager is to create, own and execute Trade Category Toolkit as well as Prono Strat & 6Ps, Promo Strategies and tactics and Category Management – Assortment, pricing, Analytics.
Category planning:
- Develop quarterly and monthly category plans for assortment, shelf-layout, promotional strategy and price positions, focusing on the target shopper – one pagers
- Assortment – analyse Data and create assortment plan by channel
- Promotion – Analyse Opso data and create activity plan by channel
- Place(Plannos) – Create POP vision by channel
- Proposition – co create with BB by category
- Support the annual Joint Business Planning process through data analysis and opportunity identification for each account
- Support new product introduction for listing into mix;(bottom up forecasting, distribution build and targets)
- Develop National category activity plans for the year
Shopper insights:
- Use and leverage account specific category and shopper insights
- Data analytics – Nielsen, TNS
Performance Evaluation
- Measure and review category performance;
Requirements:
- University Graduate, preferably in Business or the Social Sciences.
- Minimum two to three years relevant Analyst experience
- 2 year customer facing, account management experience is an advantage
- Two years brand building experience is an advantage
- Brand Marketing & Customer/Channel orientation, Creativity, Strategic Thinking
- Legally authorized to work in Tanzania
