Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College is a constituent College of Tumaini University Makumira. The College is based at Moshi and owned by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania. The University College trains health professionals for various University awards in clinical and health sciences. It currently wishes to recruit competent and committed human resources to fill the following

ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS

JOB TITLE : PLANNING OFFICER

REPORT TO: PROVOST

Main Duties.

•Guide in planning for optimal utilization of financialresources and physical facilities, to

ensure effectiveand efficient use of the resources.

•Guide in the development and operationalisation of the College's Strategic Plan

•Establish appropriate mechanism for systematically collection, compilation, analysis and interpretation of data related to administration and finances to guide in decisions

and policy making by the College authority in issues like salary adjustment, fee structure etc

•Resourceful person in mobilizationof financial resources to sustain College activities

•Guide to asses College priorities, needs and cost effectiveness of various academic programs using costs and other indicators

•Assist to prepare estimates for development and recurrent expenditures of the College

•Conduct monitoring and evaluation of the College performance on Annual basis

•Prepare performance reports of the College on annual basis

Qualifications

Holder of Masters Degree from a recognized University in any of the following fields: Economics, Educational Planning, Statistics, Educational Management with bias in Statistics/Economics, Marketing or any other equivalent qualification; with at least 6 years work experience in a senior position in the planning unit of a recognized university/institution
