MTN Rwanda Pocket and Core MPBN Engineer

Brief details of core job responsibilities:
• Operates the existing MPBN and pocket core nodes (routers, switches, firewalls ,DNSs, NTP,SASN,SAPC,MMC,MIEP,SGSN,GGSN).
• Carries out trouble shooting activities to solve timely encountered MPBN and pocket core node problems.
• Carries out the implementation of MPBN and pocket core nodes based on MTN Rwanda rollout plan.
• Handle data change requests on MPBN and Pocket Core Nodes and ensure its proper execution.
• Re-configuration of MPBN and pocket core nodes to upgrade the network capacity.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly health check procedures to ensure optimum network performance.
• Applies the corrective and preventive maintenance procedures. Maintains safe, secure, and adequate environmental condition for equipment operation.
• Implement Mobile data solutions as per customer requirements.
Job requirements:
• Bachelor´s degree in electronics/Telecommunication.
• 2 years of working in a Telecommunication company, Information Technology or related industry.
• Advanced knowledge of networking: CCNP Certificat
