Pre-Sales Consultant, Technical Sales Consultant, Oil and Gas
Technical Sales Consultant / Pre-Sales (Oil & Gas Drilling & Completion software) urgently required for an exciting role within a highly renowned, International Oil & Gas software and solutions organisation specialising in Drilling & Completion.
The role can be based either in; Continental Europe (e.g. Milan, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Paris or Madrid) or Sub-Saharan Africa (e.g. Angola, Nigeria, East or West Africa). In this role you will cover either Sub-Saharan Africa or Continental Europe.
The successful candidate must have extensive experience working as a Technical Sales Consultant with detailed domain knowledge of the Drilling and Completion software arena. You may have worked for one of the following companies; Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Weatherford, Schlumberger, or a similar software company or consultancy specialising in Drilling and Completion software (e.g. the Landmark suite of products). You must enjoy frequent business travel and be very comfortable presenting to customers to demonstrate value after you've understood the customers' challenges.
In this role you will provide technical sales, support and consultancy to the in-region country sales and business development managers to identify markets and potential direct sales opportunities. Some of the responsibilities include the following;
-You will establish key customer clients, building and maintaining lasting business relationships in support of the global Direct Sales business.
- Maximizes the profitability of the customer through matching technical and operational capability to meet the customers' needs.
- Initiates and reviews customer proposals with Proposal Specialists.
- Presenting business solutions to customers, by presenting the advantages and capabilities of the software.
- Up to 50% local travel.
