DAI is preparing for the upcoming USAID-funded Water Security for Resilient Economic Growth and Stability project in the Philippines (BeSecure). The project will focus on improving water security through strengthened resiliency to water-related climate change impacts and increased coverage and operational sustainability of domestic water supply services in communities of need. Expected timing is to begin by July/August, 2013.
DAI is seeking candidates with technical knowledge and expertise in the following areas:
• Climate-change and its impacts on hydrology
• Water resource and climate data collection, analysis, visualization, and interpretation
• Disaster risk reduction and preparedness
• Public outreach programs and awareness campaigns
• Water resource and climate data collection, analysis, visualization, and interpretation

Qualifications Required:
• Advanced degree in technical area related to climate change, hydrology/water resources, natural resources management, or related field required;
• Minimum of 7 years or more of work experience in implementing programs related to natural resource, water supply and sanitation, agricultural and/or climate change related programs for USAID and/or other donors;
• Proven work experience in technical field of expertise
• Proven experience working effectively with multiple stakeholders including USAID, host government officials, multilateral and donor organizations, and local implementing partners.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills in English.
• Minimum of 7 years or more of work experience in implementing programs related to natural resource, water supply and sanitation, agricultural and/or climate change related programs for USAID and/or other donors;
• Proven work experience in technical field of expertise
• Proven experience working effectively with multiple stakeholders including USAID, host government officials, multilateral and donor organizations, and local implementing partners.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills in English.
