Mongbwalu based Project Manager: Business Process Framework

Our site Mongbwalu based in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) requires a suitably qualified and experienced Project Manager who will be accountable to partner with Operational Management in the review and development of operating systems, in a manner where the integrity of the Business Framework is secured and accountability is appropriately assigned.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The role holder has the following accountabilities and authorities:  

• Provide direction and guidance to project management and support team members to ensure attainment of deliverables of the AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) Business Process Framework (BPF) project.
• Assist programme manager to obtain deliverables of the AGA BPF project.
• Incorporate BPF support team into management routine.
• Support business wide integration and understanding of the project objectives.
• Sign off 2013 budgets for the BPF projects.
• Develop project plans that support the master project schedule.
• Manage project costs within the limits of the project budget.
• Plan, resource and schedule all site based activities to ensure optimal allocation and utilization of resources.
• Make staff available to assist the central team to close any gaps for the successful rollout and is held accountable of same.
• Develop and mentor BPF team members.
• Manage time, scope and quality of the project.
• Track, manage and report on project status, risks, issues and resources.
• Ensure change, communication and training.
• Host regular project management meetings.
• Stress test and validate project recommendations in support of overall business strategy.
• Assist with stakeholder management, issue and risk resolution at project level.
• Actively and constructively participate in weekly PMO meetings
• Resolve all site conflict, issues and risks related to the BPF project.
• Close project and ensure the completion of performance reviews for all support team members.  

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum Degree or equivalent from all related disciplines.
• Credibility and competence have been established in roles requiring senior operator level engagement.
• Ability to interact and influence at this level is a prerequisite requirement.
• Established leadership and personal effectiveness, underpinned by organizational credibility and influence.

REMUNERATION:

Salary will be in accordance with the AngloGold Ashanti Schedule of Salaries.
