OIKOS - Cooperação e Desenvolvimento is looking for a Country Coordinator for its Representation in Mozambique.
The Country Coordinator (CC) is the main responsible for all the aspects regarding the management of OIKOS’ program and for its legal and institutional representation in Mozambique. The CC coordinates OIKOS’ program nationwide and assumes the position of representing the institution before local authorities, partner agencies and grant providers.
He/ she is equally responsible for the strategic and financial management of the organization as well as for the coordination of the local team, which includes field coordinators and administrator, in articulation with headquarters in Lisbon. The CC reports to the Projects Department at headquarters.
Position Requirements: Educational / Technical qualifications / level of expertise:
Degree in Economics, Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies; Experience in project cycle management; Experience in team management in the context of development and humanitarian aid; Management capacity and strategic vision; High knowledge of the dynamics of international finance institutions; High bargaining power and representation; Capacity of delegation and supervision;
Languages: Portuguese (fluency); English (fluency)
