With more than 43 million refugees worldwide, Refugees United has on-ground operations in 5 countries and continues to grow. Therefore, we’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated team member to help us reunite families.
Our direct communications with refugees are a combination of on-ground assistance in refugee camps and urban settlements, coupled with outreach programs via radio, SMS campaigns and other awareness initiatives. - Create and deploy SMS awareness campaigns across millions of mobile subscribers in Africa
- Create engagement programs with our user base and improve return-to-platform rates
- Create and drive radio awareness programs coupled with our USSD and SMS platforms across East Africa, and create strategies to reach the rest of Africa and, later on, other refugee prone areas
- Engage with our network of partners and communicate our successes, opportunities and challenges
- Communications with Refugees United’s funders, both existing and potential
- Aggressively develop new communications opportunities both in emerging and developed markets
