Spare Part Sales Operator Outotec - Kitwe

Job Description

Outotec is a worldwide technology leader in minerals and metals processing, providing and developing technology solutions for the sustainable use of earth’s natural resources. The succesful candidate will be responsible for Spare Part Sales in Outotec Zambia.

Your responsibilities:
• Responsible of Spare Parts activities in Service Center / Service Product Center for selected customers and/or Product Lines or Products.
• Handling inquiries, Quotations, Sales orders.
• Requests to open Customers in applications.
• Requests to Item Specialists  to open items .
• Daily customer interface.
• Maintain and improve spare parts item data in ERP system.
• Pricing of  spare parts according to Outotec pricing policy.
• Spare parts quotations and offering packages related to Capex proposals and orders (“Service involvement in Capex Sales and Delivery Processes”).
• Collecting and updating  spare parts specifications and drawings from  engineering and suppliers.
• Co-operation with Supply, spare parts product engineers, equipment suppliers.
• Managing  project specific conditions and agreements which influence spare parts quotations.
• Supporting spare parts documentation coll./creation .
• Involved in customer specific sales behaviour and competitve situation evaluations.
• Maintain and improve technical knowledge in selected products and technologies.

Desired Skills & Experience

Our expectations:

We are looking for a Zambian Citizen with the followinging:
• Education: Minimum trade certificate in related field obtained from a certified and recognized training facility in Zambia.
• At least three years working experience.
• Takes responsibility, independent worker.
• Can work under pressure.
• Punctual and responsible.
• Keen learner (all Outotec products).
• Self motivated (finishes a job).
• Good problem solving ability.
• Ability to work with colleagues.
• Dynamic, self motivated, responsible person with strong drive to get the job done and be on time.
• English and Bemba: read, write, speaking (good).
