Responsible for all maintenance contracts and day to day activities related to such contracts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applies and follows the contractual obligations, GCC’s policies and procedures.
Follow, imply and maintain all ISO standards and requirements.
Constant attention paid to Safe Work Practices, immediately addressing any unsafe act witnessed to the operation manager.
Conduct frequent inspection in the designated areas to check for adherence to problems and maintenance issues.
Coordinates duty rosters with maintenance managers and ensures that it is followed.
Constantly available to offer suggestions on all maintenance related issues.
Monitors the availability of the assets to ensure the safety of the concern and the employees.
Gives guidelines trouble Shooting of Automatic Machineries
Gives guidelines trouble shooting of electrical equipment.
Knowledge of electrical circuits, High voltage and low voltage panel board control system
Knowledge of Industrial electrical wiring, Cabling and joints installation,
Knowledge of fire alarm system wiring installation
Ensures all trouble shooting designated areas of the contract.
Maintains all the records related to the maintenance dept.
Coordinates all the documentations for the maintenance dept.
Assure appropriate and required levels of approval are obtained for all actions.
Co-ordinates with co-workers to ensure the smooth operation- giving helping hand when it’s needed.
Constantly available to his Staff to assist in any issues that may occur.
Coordinates with operations and stores the necessary spare parts requisitions.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Holds a Degree in Engineering and/or a Diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institution.
With 7 to 10 years work experiences with a minimum of 5 years in management level.
Knowledgeable of HSE requirements on a remote site.
Must implement and maintain regulatory compliance and be able to record and submit any documentation required as per standards, policies and procedures.
Must be able to exercise considerable judgment in planning, maintaining records and training activities within the ISO system.
Must have high level of working knowledge in Microsoft office package and internet
Must be fluent in English. (French is a plus)
Relevant current accredited Trade Test Certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Person must be medically fit and have the ability to work in challenging environments, should be hands on Leader with a drive to perform and excel in his role.
