Concern Worldwide ICT Officer

Concern Worldwide is a non-governmental, international, humanitarian organization dedicated to the reduction of suffering and working towards the ultimate elimination of extreme poverty in the world’s poorest countries.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Kenyan nationals for the following vacant positions:

ICT Officer

Job Summary:

• Ensure the ICT system in Concern Kenya is functioning smoothly and efficiently in compliance with the Organisation’s strategy and policy and standards. 
• He/she will provide strategic direction for ICT needs in the country programme and ensure the organisation derives maximum value for money from its ICT investment.

Person specification:

• University degree in ICT (or equivalent qualification from a technical institution or substantial working experience in ICT domain)
• At least 4 years’ experience working in a ICT planning and administration environment
• Excellent knowledge on ICT Architecture and ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware related problems;
• Good Knowledge of Window 2003/2008 server, windows 7, virtualisation and VMware working environment, hosted cloud based ICT services,
• ICT4D related projects, servers and SharePoint services and Digital Data gathering techniques
