Aga Khan University, chartered in 1983 as Pakistan's first private international university, is committed to the provision of effective health education and health services relevant to Pakistan and the region. Aga Khan University invites applications for Senior Faculty at the academic rank of Professor/Associate Professor in Anatomy, Cell Biology, Molecular Genetics, Pharmacology and Physiology.

Responsibilities

​The positions involve: Teaching at the PhD and undergraduate medical degree levels; Playing a leadership role in academic, research and other scholarly activities; Actively participating in problem-based learning and the development of medical curriculum; Facilitating faculty development and contributing to institutional development.

Requirements

PhD, preferably with a medical degree; At least 5 years of post-doctoral research/teaching experience with an excellent publication record; Demonstrated scholarly contributions to education, research, professional services and institutional development at a national or international level; Leadership skills and ability to develop team members, and undertake complex assignments involving interdisciplinary coordination; Excellent conceptual, analytical and communications skills in both oral and written forms.
