Dexis is seeking an experienced Gender Specialist to fulfill a Performance Evaluation of Development Objective 2. This evaluation will be a part of the upcoming multi-year contract with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Tanzania Mission called Data for Development. This contract will provide monitoring and evaluation (M&E) technical services for the USAID/Tanzania. This position expected to start in latter half of 2017. This position is contingent upon award.
Provide oversight related to all aspects of gender data collection and analysis in the evaluation.
Assist in the design of the evaluation methodology, including all focus group questions, surveys, and other data collection tools.
Possess a graduate degree in gender studies, international development, development economies, or a related field.
A minimum of seven years of experience in gender integration and agriculture or economic growth programming
Have strong written and verbal communication skills, supervision, and management skills; and an ability to work with and lead diverse teams.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Kiswahili is required.
Previous experience working in Tanzania or East Africa is preferred.
