Head of Customer Marketing
Purpose of Role:
Lead the implementation, execution and delivery of the National Cold & Visibility Plan in line with the approved budget and as per brand guidelines working together with the Brand Team, CPAMs and Sales Team .
TOP 3 Accountabilities Implement and Execute the National Cold and Visibility Plan
Translate the National Visibility & Cold visibility into actionable plans and schedules for the category/region in conjunction Brand, CPAMs & Sales team and taking into consideration the regional trade strategy, brand strategy and guidelines
Lead the implementation and execution of the approved regional/ category visibility & cold plan working together with Brand Team & the CPAMs on the implementation and execution of the plan per the approved schedule.
Continually monitor and evaluate own performance against the set implementation plan and targets against approved Visibility & Cold Plan.
Continuously recommend ideas on how SBL can enhance visibility & cold in the trade by bringing insights from the trade on the gaps and opportunities.
Track & monitoring of the A&P budget for the Coolers for approval of the Marketing Director.
Assist in the development of the National Visibility & Cold and the plan for the Category/Region.
Visibility & Cooler Strategy
Develop Visibility & cooler strategy and ensure execution nationwide
Develop our key retail development program
Put in place a plan to win key Trend leading account (RLA) and regional leading accounts.
Develops strategy for “Quality thru Cold” programme: identify needs, and required equipment/ program.
Develop and ensure implementation of visibility standards per segment and for fridges
Briefing, Managing & Compliance :
Brief commercial team on a monthly basis on proposed concept/s, execution plan and agreed on target outlets for the plan.
Work together with Brand Teams to develop and order POS & Cold concepts as per agreed timelines.
Manage and track the implementation of the Cold and Visibility plan of Sales & assistant (if applicable) in conjunction with Regional Commercial Manager for your region/category by making sure the brand guidelines are adhered to and keeping a database for visibility items and coolers in your region/ category – New issues, the placement outlets and signed goods received note.
Execute and maintain all information and documentation for Marketing Control Days & GAR Audit.
Working with stakeholders
Identification of visibility & cold solution options& gaps that in line with approved strategy plan and meet requirements of the trade in conjunction commercial and procurement team.
In conjunction with the brand team & procurement based on agreed Service Level Agreements for the delivery of concepts & budget.
Manage the trade assets on behalf of SBL in terms tracking & monitoring them in stores and the trade by keeping asset database and monthly stock /asset status reports.
Manage cold suppliers’ in as per agreed contract and ensure that vendor always execute as per agreed in the contracts.
Manage stakeholder expectations by regular doing sales trade visits, checking & POS items in the store & trade & attending sales and brand meetings.
Qualifications and Experience Required: Qualifications
·A Bachelor degree in a relevant field
At least 3 years in brand management, trade marketing and marketing support.
Comprehensive understanding of Tanzania beer market
