A graduate in economics, econometrics, statistics, quantitative methods, or a closely related subject, who has at least two years’ experience in research or statistics and the talent to write well for a range of audiences, you now have an opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the development of small states within the Commonwealth.
You will be involved in providing research and analytical policy support; assisting with project management; monitoring and reporting; helping to implement meetings; preparing briefs; and up-dating our website. You will have a particular focus on the development and dissemination of statistical and analytical products and communications, including the use of Commonwealth Connects and social media.
This will involve preparing statistical tables, sourcing from the internet and publications, and liaising with colleagues; reviewing and up-dating our online database; assisting with content management by drafting and editing materials, ensuring timely uploads and developing other material including short films and social media; drafting minutes, briefs, talking points and reports; implementing our publications programme; and producing project information, providing logistical support and supporting online networking.
The Commonwealth works with 53 member governments in areas of economic, social and political development. We provide practical technical assistance, offering thought leadership and innovative solutions.
