To ensure that sourcing strategies are executed, and cost savings opportunities are identified and executed whilst all time ensuring process compliance and excellence in procurement is achieved.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for planning and executing of procurement plan within assigned procurement category.
• Responsible for managing the development of effective negotiation and contracting strategies for assigned procurement category.
• Responsible for managing supplier selection process, managing tender processes and implementing contracts including development of SLAs and KPIs as per company guidelines for the assigned procurement category.
• Identify and implement actions to achieve efficiencies within assigned procurement category.
• Participate and contribute to the preparation of periodic management and cost analysis reports.
• Participate and contribute to coordinating internal control and audit tasks.
• Lead special projects across functional areas of procurement as assigned.

Position Requirements
• University degree or equivalent in social sciences, engineering, law, business or administration
• Desirable: Procurement certification or working towards
• Minimum experience of 5-7 years in a busy environment
• Experience of working with senior stakeholders in organizations
• Experience and knowledge of purchasing processes (e.g. managing tender and contracts)
