POSITION : Head of Asset Finance
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Translates and implements the Asset Finance Strategy into business objectives in order to maximize business opportunities.
Responsible to manage the implementation of the sales strategy and business processes and to maximize sales opportunities in the areas of responsibility.
Being an executive member of the Exco team, with a clear understanding, insight and contribution to the overall strategy.
To provide strategic directions and build strong business relationships with customers.
To manage resources with the objective to achieving financial objectives of the business unit
REPORTS TO /AND LIASES WITH FNB CEO in country and Wesbank in South Africa
Location :Dar es Salaam
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Commerce
Minimum of 5 years work experience in an operational and sales environment, with a management leadership position.
A strong previous sales and! or client relationship position with a proven strong track record.

Manages, aligns and integrates resources and processes to ensure optimal execution of business plans, aligned to the strategic view.
Plans, schedules and directs processes and services to achieve BPM targets
Review operational and/or action plans if there is a change in strategic direction
Identify innovative ways to improve business practices, processes and synergies to increase revenue, efficiencies or effectiveness
Plans and implement human resource requirements for area of responsibility
Plans system and technology requirements and enablers for business performance
Develop measurement metrics to evaluate business performance and behavior across area of responsibility
Overseas, gather and disseminate relevant internal and external business information [mpacting on operations
Develop policies to provide solutions that are technically accurate and meet business requirements
Identify process and product enhancements to improve service
Ensuring high standards of product knowledge and adherence to protocols to ensure that customers receive accurate and consistent information
Support the development of a "client first" culture by providing feedback to both clients (through telephonic conversation or e-mail and internal stakeholders on the status and outcome of queries in the agreed timeframe.
Remain abreast of the best market /industry practices
Taking on additional responsibility and supporting others when necessary to deliver legendary client service
Ensure the correct compliance and legal documents are in place and kept on record .
Implements performance management - takes accountability for people processes. Provide direction, coaching and regular constructive feedback to employees to improve team performance. Ensure transfer of skills across the board.
