Business Intelligence Engineer - TIGO TANZANIA

JOB PURPOSE
You are responsible to design and analyses new BI and Dashboard requirements with end users as well to improve and give maintenance of existing data marts for decision making.

Key Responsibilities

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze requirements from different business areas
• Design and implement with different reporting tools such as Business Objects, SPSS and Oracle.
• Provide documentation of all developed reports
• Finely tune data reporting repository
• Solve performance issues on new and existing reports
• Be updated with business and operative rules
• Work together with the ETL Engineer on the required information needed to deploy new reports
• Provide adequate support and training of users on front end reporting tool. Verify constantly data quality and make reports efficiently (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• University degree in Information Technology and Computer Sciences.
• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Visio

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE
• A minimum of 2 years of experience.
