Operations Manager (1)

Reporting to the  Director Operations and Administration, the purpose of this role  is to maintain  and enhance operational efficiency within the guarding department.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Leading operations  within the guarding department of  the company by evaluating customer needs, managing  guard planning process and ensuring smooth continuity of operations
• Managing service delivery by setting service standards, ensuring compliance, reviewing processes and seeking feedback from customers and other stakeholders
• Minimization of exposures through “Know Your Customer” principles
• Adherence to and application of established policies, processes and procedures to achieve optimal efficiency, compliance  and cost containment

• Training and service in any of the Armed Forces or Police will be an added advantage

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

• A university degree from a recognized university
• At least  5 years successful operations experience in a security or service Industry
• Practical experience in the use of Microsoft Office Packages

Zone Manager (3)

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Zone Manager will be incharge of a designated area.

The purpose of this role will be  to provide  value add services, deliver customer promise and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Budget control and management within the Zone
• Enforcement of controls and procedures
• Customer relationship management
• Planning  the optimal deployment of personnel in the Zone taking into account all assignment requirements and geography of the Zone
• Provide effective supervision to ensure customer satisfaction
• Putting  in place and maintaining  reporting systems to ensure that all information relevant to management for the operation of the district is compiled and submitted promptly
• Ensure all incidents requiring management attention are properly and adequately attended to, investigated and feedback initiated appropriately
• Conduct security surveys and draft quotations to prospective customers
• Assist line managers to ensure all company assets (vehicles, motorcycles, office assets) are secure and in good use
• Monitor and compile reports on business trends and competitors efforts
• Participate in security officers’ refresher courses/training at the Zone level

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma from  a recognized institution
• At least 4 years experience  in operations management at supervisory level in a security company
• Computer knowledge

Technical Manager (1)

Reporting to the Director Operations and Administration, the technical manager will be responsible for overseeing all the operations of the technical department  of the company.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical installations
• Supervise the technical team
• Provide regular feedback to management including  team performance, budgets and project status
• Review technical products and make suggestions on possible improvement
• Train and develop the technical staff
• Provide direction for  new product development
• Carry out technical surveys and provide technical quotations
• Follow on-going projects  through testing, implementation, measurement and evaluation

Competency Required for this position

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering  or related course
• A Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar field
• Computer  Knowledge
• Knowledge and experience in business  information system

Accountant (1)

Reporting to the  Finance and Strategy Manager, the role of the Accountant will be to provide leadership  in financial management and planning
 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage  the budgetary process, forecasting and  implement reporting  framework for all agreed  key performance indicators
• Develop financial analysis  and projections for new business ventures and advise management accordingly
• Initiate process improvements and implement change to achieve financial efficiency
• Undertake risk management and sound internal controls
• Lead, coach and inspire the finance team to achieve set objectives
• Ensure tax compliance as well as manage internal and external audits
• Adhere to and apply established policies, processes, procedures to achieve optimal efficiency, compliance and cost containment

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

• A  degree from a recognized university with at least CPA II  or Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK) holder
• At least 3 years successful work experience in a busy environment at  a supervisory level
• Practical experience in use of Microsoft Office Packages
• Knowledge of pastel software will be an added advantage

Human Resource Officer (1)

Reporting to the Operations and Administration Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects related to human resource management

Key Responsibilities

• Enforcing of human resource regulations
• Administration of staff contracts
• Recruitment and selection
• Preparation  of annual human resource budgets
• Development and implementation of training within the organization

• Knowledge of labor  laws and trade union matters

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

• A post graduate diploma in Human Resources
• At least 6 years experience in the field of human resource management
• Practical experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages

Controller (3)

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects related to the security control  room  including CCTV, Alarm, Telephone and Radio Systems
 

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining the control room daily occurrence book
• Liaison with the client when  following up or reporting events or Alerts relating to Alarms
• Producing a daily log sheet itemizing vehicle movements
• Monitoring  all business activities during and after normal operating hours
• Generate incident reports of  vehicle breakdowns, hijacking, accidents  and escalate to the relevant staff for resolutions
• Monitor  the movement of all company keys and other items within the control room

Qualifications, skills and experience required:

• A relevant diploma or a degree  from a recognized institution
• At least 4 years working experience on tracking systems and control centre
• Must be computer literate
• Very good telephone etiquette
• Must be able to work with flexible times

Field Officer (2)

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all field operations, checking and ensuring discipline in coordination  with Head Office.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising all assigned contracted  guards and generating proper documentation
• Attending all scheduled security guard meetings   and providing relevant feedback to assist in service improvement.
• Ensuring that all reporting and contract compliance requirements are met
• Providing proactive  training to ensure that  all security guards adequately serve the needs of the clients while complementing the operational effectiveness in the field
• Ensuring that safety hazards, suspicious activities or incidents that could cause breach of security within the client’s premises are identified, recorded and reported
• Maintaining and building an effective relationship with clients
• Conducting investigations on incidents and ensuring that proper evidence is acquired, preserved, corroborated and documented

• A diploma in security management or a related field
• Training in criminology will be an added advantage
• 4 Years experience in security supervision in a reputable institution preferably a security firm
• Excellent investigative and analytical skills
• Valid driving license
