Business Director
Responsible for operational management of Microjustice4All
Duty Station: The Hague, The Netherlands
Contract: 1 year initially

MJ4All is a Netherlands based non-governmental organization that seeks to enhance the ‘access to rights’ for vulnerable groups in the South. It does so primarily by raising awareness about the need to be registered (e.g. birth, civil registration, property registration), by providing direct support to persons that have difficulties accessing the procedures; and by advocating for pro-poor policies and (simplified) procedures. Currently, MJ4All is coordinating programs in Serbia, Croatia, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and is seeking to expand its Microjustice network.
The foundation has a Board of Directors, consisting of 2 directors, one in charge of business management and the other in charge of development. The Directors are responsible to the Supervisory Board. The organization is currently looking for a business director.
Please be advised that in the procedure preference will be given to a qualified candidate who is currently based in The Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Manage the HQ: Human Resources (including volunteers and associate consultants), Financial Administration, Public communication, office, ICT
- Project Management: implementation, reporting, finance, HR, donor relations
- Fundraising
Requirements & competencies:
· Degree (bachelor or Master) of institute of higher education;
· Affinity with legal issues
· Several years of experience in the development sector, organizational and project management
· Track record in fundraising
· Excellent communication skills
