Do you have the skills, character and understanding to take on the exciting challenge of leading service support to Tearfund’s operational work in Sudan?
We are currently seeking an experienced senior manager to assist the Country Director in the leadership and management of Tearfund’s operational service support in Sudan, with responsibility for providing close field support and management of the Human Resource, Logistics and Finance functions. The role will focus on Tearfund’s desire to see communities developed and disasters responded to.
Your responsibilities will include compliance with Tearfund’s HR, Finance and Logistics policies and procedures, compliance with donor guidelines and regulations, and providing support on Grant Management, and internal and donor reporting.
The post is based in Khartoum with travel to Darfur. This post is unaccompanied. Applicants must be prepared to live in potentially insecure conditions. Applicants must be committed to Tearfund’s Christian beliefs. All posts involve potential contact with children and the recruitment process will include specific checks related to child protection issues.
The role has 4 direct reports (Senior HR Officer, Logistics Manager, Finance Manager and Base Manager Nyala). The role represents Tearfund externally and has delegated responsibility for security management.
