PURPOSE Under the supervision of the Senior Programme Manager, the position will provide technical contribution to the planning, development and implementation of the integrated monitoring, evaluation and reporting in support of the Joint Health and Nutrition Programme.
The incumbent will also support the Senior Programme Manager of the JHNP on communications and reporting.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Support the Programme Manager in the organization of the steering committee and other JHNP work group meeting; Prepare progress reports for steering committee meetings; produce minutes of SC meetings and circulate in a timely manner;
- Collect and analyze programme data, review and edit all information and report in a timely manner to all required partners and keep the health authorities and all partners/stakeholder, including the Health Sector Committee and related working groups informed on the joint programme;
- Prepare an advocacy plan in collaboration with the Programme Manager and ensure programme and donor visibility;
- Collect all documents of relevance to the Joint programme, including all reports from the joint programme, all minutes from meetings and internal committee decisions, and file in an orderly manner to ensure quick and easy retrieval of all reports, support documents, etc.;
- Provide support to agency sub-offices to ensure proper reporting and data collection;
- Contribute to all activities on M&E in order to provide support and assistance to all technical and operational aspects, including necessary support to review and evaluation missions;
- Draft quarterly program progress reports together with the MoH as well as annual donor reports and relevant review papers (Steering Committee, Donors);
- Provide logistical and operational support to all activities on outcome evaluation, collect reports, contribute to the organization of briefings, workshops, and any other activities.
EDUCATION - Advanced university degree in social sciences, statistics, planning development, planning. (A first university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of advanced university degree).
WORK EXPERIENCE - At least five (5) years of progressive experiences at national and international level in program planning, monitoring an evaluation; - Experience in report writing, editing and donor liaison is an asset.
LANGUAGES - Fluency in English and another UN language is required.
