UFBR Project Officer HAPA , Singida

Job Objective:UFBR project officer expected to coordinate and supervise the UFBR project activities in Iramba and Mkalama Districts.
Reports to:The Health and Education Manager.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate UFBR training activities in the district and wards. Coordinate UFBR outreach activities in the districts Supervise work undertaken by Volunteer Ward Coordinators Coordinate advocacy activities by UFBR
Prepare work plan and budgets for UFBR activities
Prepare half year and annual reports and submit to the immediate supervisor.
Assist Ward Coordinators, Peer Educators, Teachers and Health providers to identify and document success stories and submit them to the immediate supervisor.
Undertake other tasks as assigned by Health & Education manager/HAPA management. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness and efficient execution of UFBR activities.
Required qualifications and experience:
An advanced diploma in social science or public health Those with degree will have added advantage. Sound knowledge of sexuality, gender, human rights and reproductive health
At least 3 years experience in managing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights related interventions at district, region or national level
Applicants worked on sexuality and gender projects will have added advantage.

At least 3 years experience of managing volunteers both, youth and adults in SRH related activities.
Experience of dealing with senior government officials at district and regional level
A sound knowledge of advocacy, lobbying and mass communication
Ability to use data for advocacy, planning, decision making and reporting
Sound capacity to use computers for data processing and storage, IMS and basic IT knowledge
Strong team leader and player
Ability to travel up to 40% of his/her time
