TOL Gases Limited (TOL) Is the leading manufacturer and distributor of Industrial and Medical Gases In Tanzania, which has been In existence since 1950. It Is also dealing with distribution of welding products, as ESABS's authorized distributor, as well as medical gas equipment. The Company Is majorly owned by Tanzanian's and has been listed In the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange since 1998:
They will be responsible to ensure that products are delivered to the customers on timely basis which in tum will enable the company to meet its sales target.
Main Responsibilities
Driving vehicles/trucks safely and timely to assigned destination and ensure that there is on time delivery of products as per customer specifications.
Offloading of goods at customer sites and ensures that delivery notes are submitted
Updating vehicle logbook on timely basis
Adhering to vehicle daily inspection procedures and report any discrepancies to authorities.
Ensuring that tankers are always clean both inside and outside as per road tanker sanitation program.
Ensuring that both minor and major services are timely done as per issued kilometer maintenance programme, Any other duties reasonably requested by Direct Manager.
Qualifications and Competencies
Education:
Ordinary level and holding a valid driving license class C Work experience: 5 Years working as a heavy duty commercial driver.
Language and computer skills: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swahili.
A certificate in Defensive Driving course will be an added advantage.
