It Is also dealing with distribution of welding products, as ESABS's authorized distributor, as well as medical gas equipment. The Company Is majorly owned by Tanzanian's and has been listed In the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange since 1998:
They will be responsible for troubleshooting all the minor breakdowns or problems that may occur and ensure that production targets are met.
Main Responsibilities
Performing all required maintenance. including emergency repairs and overhauling activities in accordance with specifications and subject to supervisor's approval.
Implement required maintenance activities in accordance with preventive maintenance checklist
Ensuring that all production lines are operating to the required standards and plant parts are in good conditions. Ensure all safety equipments are working in good condition and follow safety standard operating procedures. Any other duties reasonably requested by direct manager.
Qualifications and Competencies
Education:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Work experience:
5 Years working in a similar role in manufacturing environment.
Language and computer skills: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swahili
Computer literate
