The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is looking for an Online Community Coordinator to assist with its social media and web marketing strategies.
The coordinator reports to the Communications Director and will be responsible for facilitating community planning initiatives, identifying and fostering development opportunities, keeping strategy, policy and netiquette up-to-date.
This position is offered on a fixed 6 month contract (CDD) with a possibility for renewal. Applicants must have valid French working papers or an EU passport to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities will include
- Develop and implement ICC’s social media strategy;
- Keep policy, netiquette and privacy statement in line with overall developments;
- In cooperation with all relevant departments, develop editorial content to ensure proper promotion of ICC products, events and services;
- Supervise, maintain, open/close ICC’s social media accounts and maintain a calendar to ensure global dissemination of ICC’s messages throughout all platforms;
- Create dialogue on the different platforms and provide prompt responses to comments and questions;
- Monitor platforms and responses closely to produce regular reports and statistics summarizing social media efforts and visibility online;
- Identify key influencers and organize social media campaigns to increase engagement and follower/fans;
- Work closely with the Communications and Business Development team to ensure proper use of language and marketing;
- Coordinate and interact with the ICC social media/web marketing working group.
Profile
- Computer, social media and internet savvy;
- Proficient on Microsoft Office and Photoshop;
- Experience with video editing is a plus;
- Fluent in English with excellent writing skills and basic French;
- Other languages are a strong plus;
- Preferably has a communications, marketing, public relations, or journalism background;
- A first experience managing social media accounts for a company or organization is a must;
- Good customer service and communications skills.
