ICCO give global financial support and advice to local organisations and networks that work for better access to basic facilities, initiating sustainable economical development and enhancing peace and democracy. ICCO also bring together enterprising people in the Netherlands and in developing countries.
Kerk in Actie (Church in Action) supports the work of hundreds of Christian churches and organisations both in the Netherlands and world-wide, to help people realise their potential and provide them with new perspectives for the future. All Kerk in Actie's programmes abroad are carried out jointly with ICCO.
We are currently seeking a Fund Manager, Ethiopia, who will be responsible for setting up the management office including systems and procedures and actual fund management by organising the calls and overseeing implementation. The overall objective is to disburse funds in a transparent and competitive way and manage the day to day operations of the Fund Management Office.
The ideal candidate should have extensive international (5-7 years) experience in fund management, agribusiness and private sector development in the African context; as well as a proven track record in project management and is financially literate. S/he will possess an innovative attitude with the ability to initiate and develop new initiatives; and strong communication skills (excellent command of oral and written English).
