Project Summary:
Management Systems International (MSI) is currently recruiting for positions under the USAID-funded Local Partners Capacity Building Program (LPCB). The goal of the program is to improve the overall capacity of local organizations to scale up quality HIV/AIDS services in Zambia by helping to strengthen their management, financial, technical, and monitoring capacities.
Position Summary: The Program Officer (Monitoring and Evaluation) will assist the program’s Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist and work with the current Program Officer in managing LPCB’s overall M&E system.
Responsibilities: • Integrating partner M&E input into the program’s reporting system. • Provide advice, training and technical assistance in M&E to LPCB program staff, Capacity Leaders and Partner Organizations.
• Support the management of the LPCB program’s Management Information System (MIS).
Qualifications: • Demonstrated knowledge of monitoring and evaluation systems and best practices, including survey methodologies and databases; • Prior M&E experience on international donor funded projects; experience reporting results to USAID and familiarity with USAID M&E reporting requirements strongly preferred; • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of HIV/AIDS and PEPFAR Indicators; • Degree in monitoring and evaluation, organization development, public health or other relevant field; • Excellent computer skills, especially MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and familiarity with databases.
