The International Trade Centre (ITC) is the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations. ITC invites applications for the following two key positions in Geneva:

Chief, Office for Africa (P-5 level)
(closing date for applications 20 November 2011)

Senior Trade Promotion Officer
(P-4 level), Office for Arab States
(closing date for applications 23 October 2011)

These posts require to have an advanced university degree in economics, business administration, international trade or related field. Respectively, a minimum 10 years (at the P5 level of which at least two years at a senior level), 7 years (at the P4 level) of progressive postgraduate professional experience in trade or development is required.

For both posts an advanced level of English is required. An intermediate level in Arabic is also required for the post in the Office for Arab States. Working knowledge of French is desirable for the post in the Office for Africa.
