JOB FUNCTION:
• Responsible and manages the Human Resource (HR) department, Health Services and Environmental/safety for the plant and Administration site.
• Responsible for providing leadership around engagement, coaching managers/supervisors on people related issues, aligning HR processes and systems with business unit strategies and providing HR solutions for all people-related processes including, but not limited to employee and labor relations
• Responsible for HR policy formulation, for Example: Managing Payroll, Benefits, Disciplinary, Local Hiring, Compensation, Training, Safety, Health, Security Programs, etc
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• High Standards and Goals, self-starting rather than passive acceptance
• Develop and execute strategies around people processes and services including the employee engagement process, community involvement, recruitment/staffing, performance management , development and retention, and ensure appropriate resources on health and safety are available, manage and control the above functions, co-ordination of personnel documentation and contracts, etc
• Training to meet identified needs in all departments- inspire, motivate, educate and empower others to meet deadlines in a fast pace industrial environment.
• Establish proactive strategies to facilitate positive employee engagement, including maintaining proactive relationships.
• Build strong relationship with all levels of the organization to ensure HR services, decision and recommendations are in the best interest of our employees and the business.
• Ensure compliance with Organization’s HR Policy and Employment and labor laws.
• Manage the HR, health services and safety teams (incuding OSHA Regulations). Provide visible and credible leadership around all key initiatives all these areas; ensure compliance with organization’s medical and safety management policies.
• Influencing and persuading skills in manner that gains agreement, acceptance and fair justification
QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
EXPERIENCE
• Three to five years generalist experience in industrial environment that includes two years of team leadership.
• Understanding of and experience working with all levels of workers
• Compensation law and regulations across Tanzania, proven ability to build strong partnership at all levels in the organization and gain credibility quickly.
• Strong communication skills in English and Kiswahili, and people skill with the ability to interact effectively with employee at all levels

• Demonstrate tract record in promoting an inclusive environment and seeking ways to integrate differences.
• Ability to work in high degree of autonomy and as a member of a team
• Knowledge in the current business industry in Tazania
• Solid working knowledge/experience of MS Excel, Word and Power Point.

• Plant managers/supervisors, technical personnel’s, operators, helpers, drivers
External:
• Retain lawyers
• Relevant Government Agencies/Authorities
• Board of Directors of the Organization.
