Job Description:

The Chief of Party should have the strategic vision, leadership qualities, depth and breadth of technical expertise and experience in the full range of nutrition and HIV/AIDS interventions at clinical and community levels. Experience mentoring and training local staff and partners. S/he will also have experience in interacting with host country local governments, USAID partners, international donors and knowledge of GRZ policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

•Previous experience as a Chief of Party (preferably experience on a USAID contract or cooperative agreement). •At least seven (7) years of experience managing complex programs of similar scale that includes nutrition, HIV/AIDS services OR agriculture and livelihoods experience. •The candidate must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Public Health, Agriculture, business administration, economics, education and training. •Experience in building and effectively supervising a diverse team of employees. •Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, pro-activeness and creative problem-solving •Excellent oral and written communication skills and English language fluency.
