This position will be based in our Nairobi office with regional travel to our EA offices.
- As an Audit Senior, you will be a valuable resource, charged with the following:
- Management of the planning, execution and reporting of statutory audits
- Reviewing and reporting on internal control and financial statements
- Design and implementation of tailored audit programs to meet specific needs
- Ensuring assigned work is completed within agreed time frames and budgets are carried out per approved methodologies and standards
- Assigning work, supervising, and offering on-the-job training to Audit Associates to enable them perform specific audit procedures
- Keeping abreast with technical developments in the profession, in order to anticipate client needs, and offer value added and practical business solutions
- A Bachelor's degree - minimum second (2nd) class upper division
- CPA (K) or ACCA Finalist
- Minimum three (3) years external audit experience
- Thorough knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
- Excellent written and oral skills required to communicate effectively and efficiently with the client / management
- Ability to multitask and work independently and supervise others
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Highly organized and excellent analytical skills to understand accounting / Financial transactions
