CA Global: Telecommunications (Africa Positions) has an international client who is looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a background in VAS Operations Management. This position will be based in Tanzania. Only local candidates need apply, expatriates will not be considered.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Required to meet KPI/SLAs as per project scope.
• Line management of Operations Teams/verticals [SD/L1/L2] – to conduct performance and comp. management.
• Ability to manage internal/external escalations and communication.
• Responsible for C-sat.
• Ability to manage new service/Node integration /Transition with NOC.
• To be able to guide team on technical issues and on processes adherence.
• Periodic Operations review with client and follow up plans.
• Good analytical skills - should be able to analyze data and create customer facing reports /PPT’s using MS-office.
• To manage 24x7 Operations as per processes and using tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in VAS Operations Management (Products like Messaging, CRBT, MCA, Roaming, M-commerce).
• A minimum of 7 years work experience and not more than 10 years work experience in total.
• Candidates should hold a relevant BE/B Tech/MCA.
• Knowledge of ITIL Framework.
• Knowledge of overall Telecom /GSM Domain.
• Knowledge of latest Operating Systems like Linux/Unix, Windows.
• Past experience in Telecom Managed Service, NOC environment.
• Knowledge of latest PM tools.
• Should be able to take short and long term travels to Africa or any other countries as per project requirements.
