To start up a new emergency response in South Sudan, we are seeking
FIELD MANAGER (145/11-12) Reporting to the Operations Manager in Juba, the person selected will be the reference and the representative of the Organisation on the field, coordinating the activities of the project and managing all the resources in order to guarantee that the objectives are met in line with the policies and strategies of Intermón Oxfam (IO).
FOOD SECURITY OFFICER (146/11-12) Reporting hierarchically to the Field Manager and functionally to the Food Security Manager in Juba, the recruited person will be in charge of the start up and supervision of all Food Security & Livelihoods activities on the field. His/her main duties will be the planning, follow up and assessment of Food Security & Livelihoods activities, working together with the Field Manager on necessary changes in the strategy of FSL activities.
LOGISTICS OFFICER (147/11-12)
Reporting hierarchically to the Field Manager and functionally to the Logistics Manager in Juba, the Logistics Officer will be in charge of the logistical activities for the project: planning, Implementation, follow up and evaluation of the project's logistical activities, management of the Logistics emergency team, implementation of the project's security plan according to the security country guidelines and under the supervision of the Field Manager, management of supply Chain and equipment maintenance (fleet, IT, communication equipment) and organisation of Distributions in project activities.
WATSAN - PHE OFFICER (148/11-12)
Reporting to the Field Manager in hierarchy terms and to the Wash Manager in Barcelona (Spain) at headquarters functionally, the selected person would be in charge of design, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the wash activities of the project.
The Watsan Officer will participate in the proposal and follow-up of the wash activities budget and he/she will select the material and equipment resources for the wash activities with suitable quality and technical specifications to reach Sphere Standards and ensure steps and protocols of Oxfam International.
PHP OFFICER (149/11-12)
Reporting to the Field Manager in hierarchy terms and to the Wash Manager in Barcelona (Spain) at headquarters functionally, the selected person would be in charge of design, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the Public Health Promotion activities of the project with a community participation approach.
The PHP Officer will evaluate and select the needs of NFI (Non Food Items) to the affected population, the collection of data and statistics concerning morbidity and mortality of diseases related to water and sanitation and the impact of the Water and Sanitation activities.
FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER (150/11-12)
Reporting hierarchically to the Field Manager and functionally to the Finance and Administration Manager in the capital Juba, the Finance and Administration Officer will support the humanitarian operations through activities related to administration, finance and staff management on the field and activities related to the openning of the project.
His/her main duties will be prepare and follow-up the program financial agreements and contracts, control of field cash balance, manage all the staff administration (contracts, holidays, taxes and social security, health insurance policies, etc.), ensuring all local laws are applied in terms of HR. The FinAdmin Officer will be in charge of the financial administration management conducting monthly closings (ensuring all purchasing norms and procedures for IO and co-financers are respected) and the project payments to the staff as well as to providers with the maintenance of the documents justifying all payments.
Experience and Skills
For all positions:
- Professional experience of 2 years in a similar position at an international NGO.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English. Written and spoken Spanish will be a plus.
- Computer skills (MS Office, Internet, E-mail).
- Availability to travel and readiness to work in isolated and unsecured environments.
Working Conditions
Contract of employment: 3-6 months (renewable). Salary: According to Intermón Oxfam country salary scale. Social benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance and children benefit.
