Direct Sales Force Manager

JOB PURPOSE                                       
You are responsible for coordinating and controlling the sales and distribution structure in the direct sales force with efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring execution of strategic initiatives, tracking the market, ensuring the compliance of processes and procedures and achieving the department’s targets and objectives to be delivered by the direct Sales Force.

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities
  • Planning and organizing strategic initiatives to improve performance and utilization of resources for all our products and services in the direct channel.
  • Preparing and controlling the sales and distribution – direct Channel budget, ensuring the correct and efficient application of our resources.
  • Inspire the team to achieve desired results in productivity, teamwork, quality, and job knowledge
  • Ensure that strategic plans and initiatives are set, maintained, and continuously improved; generating creative solutions to identify improvements in process, procedures and administration of our resources.
  • Drive personal and team growth and development.
  • Planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling the sales and distribution in the direct channel operations in Tanzania, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Managing the operative policies, process and procedures in the direct channel
  • Tracking, monitoring and ensuring the achievement of the sales and distributions direct channel targets in Airtime Sales, customer acquisition, product penetration, churn prevention, Sim Swap and customer registration compliance.
  • Overseeing performance of the people under his supervision.
  • Get updated information and continues feedback from the market.
  • Make constant market audit and evaluations by having scheduled market visits.
  • Controlling fraud and practice that can affect the company or the market 
Position Requirements

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor Degree in Commerce or any other relevant degree is essential. A Master’s degree is desirable.
  • 5 years of work experience in relevant field
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences; strong reasoning, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict; ability to provide feedback and develop team
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and effectively communicate necessary policies and procedures to stakeholders
