Objectives:
To ensure that YAKUBU & ASSOCIATES CHAMBER is developed, operated and maintained according to
Vision, mission and policy objectives of the Firm of providing efficient, reliable, secure and affordable
Legal services that meet the needs and expectations of the clients.
To ensure that the firm achieves its five year strategic plan
Maintains and enhances the firm's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating
Employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
To ensure that Firm's vehicles are operated as stipulated in Transport Policy and meet performance standards and targets.

Business Development Manager (1Position)
Position title: Business Development Manager
Reports to Managing Counsel

Main Responsibilities:
Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities,
 Screens potential business deals by ana lysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with firm strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professio;;al organisati
 

Minimum Qualifications and Experiences: .
A holder of a university degree/diploma orequivalent in Business Administration/Economics/Logistics Management/Public Administration or Equivalent.
Possession of a Master degree of Business Administration or Social Sciences or Postgraduate
qualification will be an added advantage. '
Must have not less than three (3) years of experience in management or Supervisory level in business operations in private sector.
Excellent organising and leadership skills to meet business requirements.
Good communication skills an.d interpersonal relations.
Ability to build good relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
Honesty, credible and integrity. Innovative, creative and dynamic.
Ability to negotiate successfully.
Computer literate.
Ability torneet and influence people in connection business matters.
