Role Purpose To take care of matters related to the Indirect Sales Channels. Key Responsibilities CORE RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop channel sales plans and strategies for building/maintaining a robust channel sales pipeline and moving key opportunities through the sales cycle. Review with management and channel partners at least once a quarter. • Train the channel partners on how to sell Tigo Postpaid solutions against the competition. • Ensure that channel partners have adequate support and ongoing training/education to effectively sell the company’s brand and product line. • Set quotas and objectives with channel partners that are in line with Tigo Rwanda goals. • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts for each channel partner using the company’s CRM tool. • Maintain key end customer and channel relationships in the assigned region. • Work closely with marketing to develop and execute lead generation programs for channel partners in assigned region. • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activities and provide feedback to Corporate Services Head. • Successfully reconcile “the voice of the channel” with the “voice of the company” to achieve the highest customer satisfaction possible while also meeting the company’s goals. • Work with management and other territory channel sales managers to develop and maintain a flexible/scalable channel sales model. • Develop/maintain legal agreements with channel partners in line with the company’s channel partner program. • Follow the established sales processes of the company and effectively utilize the available sales resources provided by the company. • Effectively maintain and keep current customer/channel partner information and sales opportunities in the company’s CRM system. Position Requirements QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelor Degree in Management, Marketing or Finance • 1 or 2 years in Sales Team Management ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE • Manage good relationships. • Demonstrate exceptional presentation and persuasive skills. • Demonstrate good project management skills. • Actively identify new ideas and opportunities. |
