Purpose of the position:
To work in Procurement Section and assist with the handling, co-ordination and management of procurement of goods and services for activities of WVK ministry, which has the aim of enhancing World Vision's response to the needs of the projects and victims of natural and man-made disasters, as they occur, in terms of timeliness, appropriateness and effectiveness, while maintaining high standards of accountability.
Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
- Graduate preferably business related studies
- Post graduate qualification in purchasing and supplies management from CIPS
- Must have prior working experience of not less 3 years in purchasing and supplies
- Computer literate with excellent working knowledge in word and excel
