About Educat
Educat seeks to foster entrepreneurial skills, attitudes and opportunities. We believe positive change starts at the level of the individual. We believe that change-makers exist at all levels of society. And we believe that with the right training and education we can unleash the full potential of Rwanda’s existing and future entrepreneurs and leaders. That is what we are working for in Rwanda. Educat is a young, social enterprise with roots in Denmark but working in Rwanda since 2009.
Our long-term goal in Rwanda is to establish an institute for higher learning with focus on leadership, entrepreneurship and social innovation: the Rwandan Entrepreneurs and Leaders (REAL) Institute. For now our core business is training and support of Rwandan entrepreneurs and businesses – ranging from micro-businesses to larger corporations. Profit is not our goal, financial sustainability and independence from donors are.
