Assistant to the Secretary for Spiritual Life Development

The Centre for Spiritual Life Development exists to facilitate the development of the spiritual lives of Salvationists by:

· Offering conferences and events that are spiritually enriching and that help form people in Christlikeness;
· Providing resources to cultivate spiritual life development;
· Encouraging implementation of international and systematic opportunities for Spiritual growth throughout the International Salvation Army.

You will assist in the Ministry of the Centre for Spiritual Life Development as the Assistant to the Secretary for Spiritual Life Development. We would expect you to lead worship within an SA context. You will be a team player and have good capabilities across a wide range of disciplines, including administrative and secretarial. You should possess good communication skills and have experience of working with Lotus Notes and PowerPoint. Candidates will have no problem in multi-tasking or planning and prioritising workload.

You will be an active, committed, uniformed Salvationist with a track-record of faith-based living.


Starting salary: £17,500

Hours: 35 per week
