Right To Play is recruiting a Project Coordinator for its Rwanda Country Program. S/he will be responsible for coordinating and managing the implementation of Right To Play activities in the Bugesera District and will be based at the Ngeruka Office. The incumbent will be directly supervised by the Program Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
The Project Coordinator (PC) will be responsible for building the capacity of Right To Play partners, enhancing Right To Play overall public image, supporting Right 'lb Play in achieving its goals in Rwanda, donor reporting and proposal development, organizing and implementing workshops, adult education training, budget development and monitoring, working with children and youth to promote their holistic development
QUALIFICATIONS
A) EDUCATION/ TRAINING/ CERTIFICATE:
Required: Masters Degree in a relevant field, or Bachelor's degree and experience with NGO work;
Desired: A Master's degree preferably in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Project management or other disciplines relevant to Right To Play focus areas (education, sports, play, health/HIV, etc.).
B) EXPERIENCE AND CORE COMPETENCIES
Required: Strong training and facilitation skills; Background in adult education is preferred - Participation in sport and play; experience leading organized activities for children - Personal sport and activity background with coaching experience - Proven experience in Result based project management; including research and strategy, planning, and financial management - Proven experience in training and motivating staff;
Desired: Experience in working with partner organizations, with I/NGOs - Previous experience in social works and / or Refugee Camps
C) KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS
Required: Fluency in French, English and Kinyarwanda - Written and verbal communication skills, and confidence using these in a cross cultural environment - Effective reporting writing and analytical skills -Computer literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
