We are now seeking applicants for our Country Finance Manager in Ethiopia. Applications are invited from qualified accountants with 2 to 5 years’ experience of managing a finance team and providing a finance service to the technical and operations team in country. This is the senior finance position in our country office which will play the leading role in managing all financial operations in Ethiopia. As a member of the Ethiopia Senior Management Team, the successful candidate will work closely with the management, technical and operations teams in country with accountability for managing budgets effectively , reporting to donors and ensure proper books of accounts are maintained in compliance with local law and MC financial management policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes: • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant • Experience should be five years with two years in managerial position. • Knowledge of NGO donors and their reporting requirements, specifically USAID • Excellent computer skills with experience of computerised financial systems and Microsoft Excel • Strong ability to manage and priorities multiple tasks Please note there is no international package or relocation costs provided with this position.
